Chatlo Privacy Policy

1. Who we are

Chatlo is an AI assistant app that lets you connect to AI model providers, use local device capabilities with your permission, and manage optional VIP features through in-app purchases.

2. Local-first design

Chatlo does not require you to create a Chatlo account. Chat history, provider settings, local model settings, and API keys are designed to stay on your device unless you choose a feature that sends or syncs them elsewhere.

3. Information processed by Chatlo

• Conversation content you enter, attach, generate, or ask Chatlo to process.
• AI provider configuration, such as provider name, base URL, model selection, and API key.
• Local app data, including settings, conversation state, browser/tool state, imported skills, and generated files.
• Permission-protected device data only when you grant access and request a related feature, such as Calendar, Reminders, Health, Home, Location, and Photos.
• Purchase and entitlement information handled by Apple and RevenueCat to activate, renew, restore, or validate VIP access.

4. Third-party AI providers

When you choose an AI provider such as DeepSeek, Qwen, or another compatible provider, Chatlo sends the content needed to complete your request to that provider. This may include your prompt, selected conversation context, attachments, tool results, and permission-protected data if you explicitly ask Chatlo to use it. Each provider processes that data under its own privacy policy, data retention rules, training settings, and terms.

Before you first save and verify a third-party AI provider configuration, Chatlo shows a data-sharing notice and continues only after you consent.

5. Device permissions

Chatlo requests system permissions only for features you use. For example, Calendar and Reminders access lets Chatlo read or create items you request; Health access lets Chatlo answer or update health-related requests; Home access lets Chatlo read smart-home status; Location access supports maps, weather, and location features; Photos access lets Chatlo save images and exported files. You can change permissions in system settings.

6. iCloud and device sync

If you enable iCloud or system sync features, synced data is handled by Apple under Apple policies. Chatlo does not control Apple's storage, transfer, or account security systems.

7. Purchases, subscriptions, and RevenueCat

Chatlo offers monthly subscriptions, annual subscriptions, and a one-time lifetime purchase. Purchases are processed by Apple. Chatlo uses RevenueCat to manage purchase status, entitlements, renewals, and purchase restoration. RevenueCat and Apple may process purchase history, product identifiers, subscription status, renewal status, expiration date, transaction identifiers, and similar purchase data.

8. How information is used

• To provide AI responses and app features you request.
• To store your settings and conversation state on your device.
• To activate, renew, restore, and verify paid access.
• To maintain app reliability, security, and compatibility with configured providers.
• To comply with legal, platform, and fraud-prevention requirements.

9. What Chatlo does not do

• Chatlo does not require a Chatlo account.
• Chatlo does not sell your personal information.
• Chatlo does not rent, trade, or share your personal information with unrelated third parties for their own marketing.
• Chatlo does not operate its own AI model-training service for your conversations.
• Chatlo does not promise that third-party AI providers will follow Chatlo's local-first design; their own policies apply.

10. Disclosure and transfer

Chatlo may send information to third parties only when needed for features you request, such as an AI provider you select, Apple, RevenueCat, iCloud, or another service you configure. Information may also be disclosed if required by law, court order, platform rules, fraud prevention, security, dispute resolution, or protection of rights. Because AI providers, Apple, RevenueCat, and iCloud may operate in different regions, information you choose to send or sync may be processed outside your country or region.

11. Cookies and local storage

Chatlo's app does not rely on web cookies for a Chatlo account. These legal pages may use browser local storage only to remember whether English or Chinese should be displayed. If you block local storage, the pages will still work, but the language preference may not be remembered.

12. Security

Chatlo is designed to keep local data on your device where possible and to rely on system security controls, such as device storage protection and permission prompts. You are responsible for protecting your device, Apple account, provider accounts, and API keys. No software, network, cloud service, or AI provider can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

13. Retention and deletion

Data stored locally remains on your device until you delete it, remove the app, or clear related app data. Data sent to third-party AI providers, Apple, RevenueCat, or iCloud is retained according to those services' policies. Deleting local Chatlo data may not delete data already processed by third-party services.

14. Your choices

• You can choose which AI provider to use, including supported local models where available.
• You can avoid sending sensitive data to third-party AI providers.
• You can revoke system permissions in device settings.
• You can manage subscriptions through your Apple account and restore purchases in the app.
• You can delete local conversations and app data using the app or system controls where available.

15. Children

Chatlo is not intended for children under the age required by applicable law to use AI and in-app purchase services. Do not use Chatlo if you are not legally allowed to accept these terms or use the connected services.

3. Chatlo 会处理的信息

• 你输入、附加、生成或要求 Chatlo 处理的对话内容。
• AI 服务商配置，例如服务商名称、Base URL、模型选择和 API Key。
• 本地应用数据，包括设置、会话状态、浏览器/工具状态、导入的 skills 和生成的文件。
• 仅在你授权并请求相关功能时处理受系统权限保护的设备数据，例如日历、提醒事项、健康、家庭、位置和照片。
• 由 Apple 和 RevenueCat 处理的购买与权益信息，用于开通、续订、恢复或验证 VIP 权益。

4. 第三方 AI 服务商

当你选择 DeepSeek、通义千问或其他兼容服务商时，Chatlo 会把完成请求所需的内容发送给该服务商。这可能包括你的提示词、选中的上下文、附件、工具结果，以及在你明确要求使用时的权限保护数据。各服务商会按照其自身隐私政策、数据保留规则、训练设置和服务条款处理这些数据。

在你首次保存并验证第三方 AI 服务商配置前，Chatlo 会展示数据发送说明，并在取得你的同意后继续连接。

5. 设备权限

Chatlo 只会为你使用的功能请求系统权限。例如，日历和提醒事项权限用于读取或创建你请求的项目；健康权限用于回答或更新健康相关请求；家庭权限用于读取智能家居状态；位置权限用于地图、天气和定位功能；照片权限用于保存图片和导出文件。你可以在系统设置中修改权限。

6. iCloud 和设备同步

如果你启用 iCloud 或系统同步功能，同步数据会由 Apple 按照 Apple 的政策处理。Chatlo 无法控制 Apple 的存储、传输或账号安全系统。

7. 购买、订阅和 RevenueCat

Chatlo 提供月订阅、年订阅和一次性终身买断。购买由 Apple 处理。Chatlo 使用 RevenueCat 管理购买状态、权益、续订和恢复购买。RevenueCat 和 Apple 可能会处理购买历史、产品 ID、订阅状态、续订状态、到期时间、交易 ID 以及类似购买数据。

8. 信息使用方式

• 提供你请求的 AI 回复和应用功能。
• 在你的设备上保存设置和会话状态。
• 开通、续订、恢复和验证付费权益。
• 维护应用可靠性、安全性，以及与已配置服务商的兼容性。
• 满足法律、平台规则和反欺诈要求。

9. Chatlo 不会做的事

• Chatlo 不要求创建 Chatlo 账号。
• Chatlo 不出售你的个人信息。
• Chatlo 不会为了无关第三方自身营销而出租、交易或分享你的个人信息。
• Chatlo 不运营用于训练你对话内容的自有 AI 模型训练服务。
• Chatlo 不承诺第三方 AI 服务商会遵循 Chatlo 的本地优先设计；第三方服务商适用其自身政策。

10. 披露和转移

Chatlo 只会在提供你请求的功能所必需时向第三方发送信息，例如你选择的 AI 服务商、Apple、RevenueCat、iCloud，或你配置的其他服务。如果法律、法院命令、平台规则、反欺诈、安全、争议解决或权利保护需要，也可能披露相关信息。由于 AI 服务商、Apple、RevenueCat 和 iCloud 可能在不同地区运营，你选择发送或同步的信息可能会在你所在国家或地区以外被处理。

11. Cookie 和本地存储

Chatlo App 不依赖网页 Cookie 来提供 Chatlo 账号。这些法律页面可能仅使用浏览器本地存储来记住显示英文还是中文。如果你阻止本地存储，页面仍可使用，但语言偏好可能不会被记住。

12. 安全

Chatlo 的设计目标是在可能的情况下把本地数据保留在你的设备上，并依赖系统安全控制，例如设备存储保护和权限提示。你需要自行保护设备、Apple 账号、服务商账号和 API Key。任何软件、网络、云服务或 AI 服务商都无法保证绝对安全。

13. 保留和删除

本地保存的数据会留在你的设备上，直到你删除、卸载 App 或清除相关应用数据。发送给第三方 AI 服务商、Apple、RevenueCat 或 iCloud 的数据，会按照这些服务的政策保留。删除 Chatlo 本地数据不一定会删除第三方服务已经处理的数据。

14. 你的选择

• 你可以选择使用哪个 AI 服务商，包括在可用时选择支持的本地模型。
• 你可以避免向第三方 AI 服务商发送敏感数据。
• 你可以在设备系统设置中撤销系统权限。
• 你可以通过 Apple 账号管理订阅，并在 App 内恢复购买。
• 你可以通过 App 或系统提供的控制项删除本地对话和应用数据。

15. 儿童

Chatlo 不面向未达到适用法律要求年龄的儿童使用 AI 和 App 内购买服务。如果你没有合法能力接受这些条款或使用相关连接服务，请不要使用 Chatlo。
